MEXICO – The image of the late Mexican singer Vicente Fernández appeared in a Netflix video clip to announce the upcoming premiere of his bioseries, which stars Jaime Camil.
The streaming platform surprised with this advance, as the interpreter of “Estoscelos” appears in what was his office on his Los Tres Potrillos ranch to speak in the first person about what will come in the broadcast.
“My story, my songs, my feelings and how much I love them, very soon on Netflix”, mentioned Fernández to make a prelude to what will be this series entitled “El Rey, Vicente Fernández”, produced by Caracol Television.
The production house also released a first teaser, shared by Camil on his social networks, and states: “A personal invitation from EL REY. Here are the first images of the true story of him. The honor, privilege and gratitude of playing him is limitless,” she wrote.
The series will be made up of 36 chapters and in what has been revealed, you can see a Vicente Fernández as a child and then a teenager fighting for his dream. In the images you can see the actor characterized as “El Charro de Huentitán”, who died on December 12, 2021.
This series comes after the premiere of the one produced by Televisa, “The Last King: The Son of the People”, whose first season ended a couple of weeks ago in Mexico and will arrive in the United States in mid-May.
Despite the efforts of the Fernández family to stop transmission in Mexico, the second part of this production by Juan Osorio will be available from May 16, occupying the space left by “The rich also cry.”
