Who is Nacho Mangut, one of the legends of Pasapalabra and how much money he earned on the program

Nacho Mangut has returned to Pasapalabra on the occasion of the ‘Duel of Champions’, being one of the historical participants of the mythical television contest. But who is this young man from Badajoz?

He studied a Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Extremadura and is currently a professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University. In addition, he was part of Marcus Valley, an ‘indie rock’ band. As for Pasapalabra,
Nacho Mangut endured for 79 programs until he was eliminated, continuity that earned him to become one of the most charismatic contestants of ‘Pasapalabra’. In addition, he has the honor of having been the first participant together with Gema in the first program when the format returned to Antena 3.

His duels with Pablo Díaz were memorable becoming one of the couples who starred in the most contest programs. Such was the complicity of the couple that they came to play the piano and violin together in one of the programs interpreting the ‘Canon de Pachelbel’.

A double failure in the previous round, known as ‘The blue chair’, led to his expulsion. With all the participations, the contestant managed to accumulate an economic prize of
€49,800.

This is the ‘Pasapalabra Duel of Champions’

In the first four installments of this ‘Duel of Champions’, in the knockout phase a veteran champion faces a new champion. They don’t know who their rival is until they meet face to face on the set of ‘Pasapalabra’. The classified will be the winner of each ‘Rosco’ and, in the event of a tie, the one whose hands have failures (following the rules of ‘Pasapalabra’). The prize for winning each round will be 1,200 euros.

The fifth and sixth installments, the semifinals, will be one more confrontation between those who have managed to overcome the first phase. Finally, the program will have a grand final with the two duelists who have managed to surpass their partners. The winner will take a prize of 50,000 euros.

The programs for this tournament, as explained by Antena 3, have the same tests as the daily ‘Pasapalabra’ format. However, ‘Una de cuatro’ and ‘Dónde están’ will be thematic tests and will deal with champions of different disciplines.
