Killer women It is an adaptation of the homonymous book by the Argentine author Marissa Grinstein and mixes real events with fiction to narrate the stories of women who had to kill to live, according to TelevisaUnivisión in a statement.

Finding themselves in adverse situations, such as violent partners, manipulative parents and hostile bosses who prevent them from improving their lives, the protagonists choose the path of violence and commit various crimes.

With the premiere of Killer womenJedet explained to EFE, will become the first transsexual woman to star in a TelevisaUnivisión series.

For her part, Yalitza Aparicio was “happy” for the opportunity to embody a character that generated “emotional challenges.”
