‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ premieres an epic new trailer

Middle Earth is closer than ever. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power of Prime Video, after fully revealing his soundtrackhas introduced a new trailer letting us see more of the ambitious work of adaptation of the work J. R. R. Tolkien. Based on The Appendices of The Lord of the Ringsthe series of showrunners JD Payne and Patrick McKaythe most expensive in history, will be released on september 2 with a double episode.

The story of The Rings of Power takes us to a different time in Middle-earth, the Second Age of the Sun, with Elves, Men, Dwarves and other beings from the rich fantasy mythology in a moment of splendor within Professor Tolkien’s chronology. The Amazon Studios series, led by the aforementioned and debutants showrunnersPatrick McKay and JD Payne, will frame long before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and the War of the Ring. The main story arc of the series will focus on the creation and influence of the Rings of Power – hence its title – and the tricks of Sauron the Impostor –yes, that Sauron-, presenting a series of vital characters who suspect that, despite Morgoth has been defeated, evil does not rest.

We will therefore travel to places like Nminorknowing the insular realm of Men in its greatest glory and understanding how evil is still present in small and large gestures throughout Middle-earth. Following in the footsteps of Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), in what will be a tireless search for the truth of the return of the Shadow, we will see how the different races and free peoples of this complex fantastic universe come to life in a stage never seen on the screen. According to those responsible for the series, there will be large doses of fidelity Tolkien’s work, transferring the great events that occurred in the aforementioned Second Age and presenting us with new adventures, characters and situations created for the occasion.
