After a disastrous 2022, Telecinco wants to make the most of one of the few reality shows that worked fairly well for it (despite closing the least-watched edition in the program’s history). After the failure of ‘Nightmare in Paradise 2’season 6 of the island of temptations will be the next attempt to get out of the bad streak that drags the chain.
Format
Season 6 will follow in the wake of previous seasons: five couples travel to an island of the Dominican Republic and they will be divided into two towns, full of single men and women who will tempt them and will test your relationship.
It is an adaptation of the Dutch format ‘Blind Vertrouwen’, which has also been adapted in the US under the title ‘Temptation Island’. Last summer, two seasons were recorded in a row and that is why not even a month has passed between the end of the previous one and the beginning of the next one.
presenter
Like the previous season, Sandra Barneda (who is currently presenting ‘Nightmare in Paradise’) will be in charge of the program, both in the galas recorded directly on the island and in the debates.
contestants
Telecinco has already announced the details of the five new couples who will live the experience on the island: Adrian and Naomi (Valencia, two years of relationship), Manuel and Lydia (Benidorm, two years of relationship), Alexander and Laura (Madrid-A Coruña, a year of relationship), Alex and Marina (Madrid, a year of relationship) and David and Elena (Albacete-Castellón, two years of relationship).
The identity of the singles of this edition will be revealed shortly.

Release date
There is still no official release date, but the one for the specials has been brought forward: The first chapter of ‘Heading to the island of temptations’ the premiere monday january 16 in Mitele Plus and the second on Wednesday the 18th. However, the same January 18 at 10:00 p.m. the special can also be seen open on Telecinco, just before the episode of ‘Escandalo’.
