The Argentine voice: the number that moved the Sole and the reason why Ricky apologized

a new week in The Argentine Voice Y hehe blind auditions are in their last stage. Each of the participants who appeared this Monday at the show sought to impact the juries, with the aim of integrating their teams. And, for his part, Lali Esposito, Ricardo Montaner, Soledad Pastorutti Y Mau Y Ricky they paid close attention to the singers who passed through the stage in order to detect those talents that cannot be missed.

The first to appear was Mauricio Lastra, a young man from Tucumán who performed “Aire” and for whose version Montaner was quick to turn his chair around. In the return, the specialists applauded the young man’s vocal talent, and Mau and Ricky advised him to direct his voice towards melodic rhythms, in the vein of Romeo Santos.

In her turn, the participant Manuela Bervejillo, who traveled from Uruguay, said that everyone in her family is an artist and that music has always been a common currency in her home. “Put Your Record On” was the song she chose, but the number ended so soon that Lali regretted that she didn’t press the button in time. When it was her turn to speak, Montaner explained: “It happened to me that I couldn’t define her style, because the way she sang was very similar to the original.” La Sole added: “There is no doubt that you sing very well, but I agree”. Finally, Lali was very upset at not having been able to summon her, and she concluded: “Yes or yes, we ask you please, come back.”

María Florencia and María Verónica Soaje, 21, are twins and performed “El niño y el canario”. La Sole, Ricardo, Mau and Ricky soon turned around. Pastorutti could not contain his tears at the number, and his surprise was greater when he discovered that the brothers had blocked it. With some guilt, Ricky apologized to her partner, when she noticed the deep emotion that the singing of the twins provoked in him. For his part, Mau stressed: “You are from another world. The accuracy of that performance… It shows that you are sisters, I didn’t even have to see you to know that you know each other better than anyone can know each other. One knew what the other was going to do, it’s very impressive.”

When asked why she was crying, Sole explained: “Throughout my childhood, I have many memories of listening to folklore with my old man, in Arequito, and this song always played. And it takes me back to those moments of my childhood. I learned to sing with these songs, and it’s been so long since I’ve heard a version of this song, and I thought, ‘some day, when there are children who want to launch themselves into folklore, there are so many songs that have stopped being sung, and it’s great to rescue them ‘”. Finally, Mau assured: “My greatest strength is the relationship with my brother, and I see exactly that in you. What makes them different is that connection, that brotherhood.” After those words, both ended up choosing the Montaner team.

Then it was the turn of Tomás Barani, from Córdoba, who had a few seconds of his version of “Billie Jean” to have all the chairs facing him. With great enthusiasm, the jurors tried to convince the participant to recruit him, and Ricky stressed: “This is the beginning, and it is in your hands if this is going to be the rest of your life or not. I invite you to come to our team so that you can wear the medal and that this is the beginning of your career”. Later, Lali highlighted: “You do know what you want, a kid with your voice, with so much personality, that you made such a popular song yours, I have a perception that you have it clear.” Finally, Barani joined Esposito’s team.

Near the end, Ezequiel Romano did “Zafar”, and La Sole turned around to add him to his team: “It’s only mine! This program is an accelerated course, you have very good people who are going to help you, besides I am going to be there. You did it very well”.

Finally it was the turn of Azul Politi who performed “I already forgot you”, but failed to interest any of the juries.
