According to the official synopsis for the sequel, “newly promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions put them bottom of the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the ‘ child prodigy’, he went to work with Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the aftermath of Nate’s controversial departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) becomes an assistant coach, along with Beard (Brendan Hunt). While Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, he continues to deal with his own personal problems at home.
The production has been praised by critics and recognized as the best comedy series in its first two Emmy Awards. It is a global and unique phenomenon that brings out the best in this sport, and excites more than one with what happens behind the performance of the players on the field.
