Buenos Aires, October 12, 2022.- Star+ announces the start of production of “Coppola, the representative”the new comedy from the Star Original Productions label that will arrive at the service of streaming in 2024, made by Pampa Films, written by Mariano Cohn, Gaston Duprat Y Immanuel Ten and with the address of Ariel Winogradwho also serves as showrunner of the series. They lead the cast of the new production Juan Minujin (William Coppola) Monica Antonopoulos (Amalia “Yuyito” González), Joaquin Ferreira (Poly Armentano), Abel Guerrero (Alejandra Pradon), alan sabbagh (Marian), Augustine Sullivan (Carlos Menem Jr.) and mayte rodriguez (Sophie).
Humorously, the fictional series revolves around Guillermo Coppola (Minujín), the manager of one of the most famous soccer players in the world, who tries to reconcile his hectic private life with a full-time job that leads him to deal with the unusual consequences of the actions of his client, whose sporting zenith is quickly followed by a stage frank decline.
Composed of six 45-minute episodes, “Coppola, the representative” captures the spirit of the 90s, of which Coppola was one of its most emblematic protagonists. Based on real events and characters from those years, it appeals to the nostalgia of those who lived through it and invites new generations to discover details of those years and iconic characters of an era.
