Season 4 of ‘Sex Education’ loses another of its actresses but confirms the return of Ncuti Gatwa, the new Doctor Who

Bad but also good news for fans of ‘sex education’since the Netflix series has confirmed both an exit and a return for season 4. The low is that of Rakhee Thakrarthe actress who gave life to the teacher Emily Sands, but in return it has finally been announced that Ncuti Gatwa will return to once again play Eric.

One of lime and one of sand

In the case of Gatwa there were many doubts about his possible return, since the young actor recently signed up to be the new protagonist of ‘Doctor Who’, which will keep you very busy. Fortunately, have been able to balance the agendas of both series and we will have him in the fourth season of ‘Sex Education’. Of course, zero surprises if it ends up being the last one in which he participates.

For his part, Thakrar’s departure isn’t all that surprising considering how the third season ended. Of course, the actress has clarified that she was very happy with the series and that “i can’t talk about why i’m not in the new season“. It smells like a script decision.

More striking is that Thakrar thus becomes the fourth actress in the series to get off the ship after seasons. The first in announcing his departure was Simone-Ashleywho confessed that he was going to focus on season 3 of ‘The Bridgertons’the next was Patricia Allisonwho preferred to focus in other job opportunities, and the third and surely most important had been that of Tanya Reynoldswho hinted that it was the very evolution of the series that caused his departure.

Season 4 of ‘Sex Education’ still does not have a release date, but it is known that its filming will take place this fall, so we will have to wait until 2023 to see the new episodes.

netflix has many interesting series beyond ‘Sex Education’ and maybe you will find some of your taste in our review to the best Netflix series of 2022.
