Raúl Arévalo is once again a police officer in ‘Santo’, a Netflix series for September

Raul Arevalo repeats police role after passing through Riot gear in the series Holy, first Spanish fiction filmed between Spain and Brazil for Netflix, which announced this Wednesday its premiere for the next 16 of September.

Produced by Nostromo Pictures and created by Carlos Lopez (behind popular series like Hache, The Prince, The Embassy), is directed by the Brazilian Vincent Amorim (A Divisão, Police Romance: Espinosa, Copa Hotel).

Shot in Spanish and Portuguese, Holy is a dark and fast-paced series of crime, action and intrigue, which sometimes reaches terror, according to its creators.

The series tells the story of Santo, the world’s most wanted drug lord whose face has never been revealed. The two policemen who go after him, Cardona (Bruno Gagliaso) and Millan (Raul Arevalo), they are initially opposite, but they are forced to collaborate and understand each other in order to solve the case and stay alive.

In addition to Raúl Arévalo, from Segovia, who plays Millán, an inspector from the narcotics squad in Madrid with a reputation as a good policeman, and Brazilian Bruno Gagliasso, who plays Ernesto Cardona, a federal police delegate in Salvador de Bahía (Brazil ) and man of action, without doubts or shadows, appears in the cast Victory War.

The Portuguese, born in Faro, plays the role of Bárbara Azevedo, a brilliant girl of Portuguese origin, who studied medicine in Madrid and broke with her future to travel to Brazil to start a new life.
