It’s already Wednesday and it’s time for another round of weekly releases to point towards the weekend and review all the news that comes our way.

This week is a bit quiet, but still from today and until Sunday several long-awaited premieres arrive. Peaky Blinders

This week comes the sixth and final season of ‘Peaky Blinders’ with the highly anticipated outcome of the series. Picking up shortly after the end of World War I, this crime drama centers on the Peaky Blinders street gang and their ambitious boss Tommy Shelby, who is determined to rise to the top no matter what.

‘Ms. Marvel’

The new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that adapts the comics of the teenage superheroine. Kamala Khan is a big fan of the Avengers and especially Captain Marvel, although she suddenly gets powers and has to learn to deal with the situation.

‘Becoming Elizabeth’

This historical drama focuses on the youth of Queen Elizabeth I of England. Long before her accession to the throne, Elizabeth Tudor is a teenage orphan who finds herself embroiled in the political and sexual intrigues of the English court. After the death of her father, King Henry VIII, a power struggle between the great families of England is launched.

This miniseries focuses on Juan Sebastián Elcano and Ferdinand Magellan’s first trip around the world, leaving Seville for the Indies in 1519. Three years later, only one of the five ships returns from the trip having proven that the Earth is spherical.

This Spanish series for Netflix explores the misuse of intimate images on social networks when a sexual video featuring a very promising politician is leaked to the press. Through the lives of four women, the limits of intimacy and the right to privacy are considered.
