Fernando Colunga reveals the reason why he refused to star in Malverde

“For me, Malverde was a very cool experience because it brought me closer to his writer, we worked for almost a year preparing the character, making, moving, but sometimes life comes together like a perfect storm with things,” he acknowledged.

He added: “I had a personal problem, the Covid thing came, they couldn’t start, I couldn’t travel, so the decision was made, at an administrative level, because I’m not the owner of the company to say I’m not going and it’s over, that Let’s let the project go.” revealed the actor from soap operas such as ‘Amor real’, ‘María la de barrio’ etc.

The soap opera heartthrob assured that he was working closely with the president of Telemundo global, who proposed to him to do this character.
