Epigmenio Ibarra accuses Ciro Gómez Leyva of sustaining the “historical lie”; he demands an apology

MEXICO CITY (appro). – The producer and filmmaker Epigmenio Ibarra demanded that the host of the program “In the morning” of Radio Formula, Ciro Gómez Leyva, apologize for holding “the historical lie” of what happened with the 43 students of the normal in Ayotzinapa, in Iguala , Warrior.

“What I do demand and continue to ask and will continue to ask and ask of you is that you apologize for having sustained the historical lie, for having supported it,” said Ibarra, who daily lists the 43 disappeared on September 26, 2014 on Twitter. .

During his participation in the program with Gómez Leyva, Ibarra ruled out the intervention of the State in this crime.

“They did not speak of this fact, and those of us who spoke were branded as crazy,” he complained, to which Gómez Leyva later stressed that now it is the other way around and he drives him crazy.

He pointed out that State agents participated in the crime and State agents covered up the crime in Ayotzinapa, to which Gómez Leyva asked him according to whom. The filmmaker replied that with the evidence.

“What evidence?” asked the news presenter and Epigmenio replied that according to the report that he was recommended to read and presented on August 18 by the Undersecretary for Human Rights and Population of the Ministry of the Interior, Alejandro Encinas.

Gómez Leyva reverted to him that this report is like the one that was presented five or six years ago, although he did not define whether he was referring to the one commented on eight years ago by the now detained Jesús Murillo Karam, who constructed the so-called “historical truth” of the Ayotzinapa case to close the case and was arrested for his involvement in the disappearance of the normalistas.

“Why? Why? But why excuse the parents? Let’s see why I’m going to apologize to people who talk to us, who give us interviews, who come to this studio, ”said the communicator, to which the producer replied that it was because of his editorial position.

In the midst of the controversy, Gómez Leyva called him exaggerated and even said that he would not apologize to him, while Ibarra continued with the thesis of the cover-up of the crime by the State.

Ibarra told him that they assumed as their own a position of the State to cover up a crime, to which Gómez Leyva replied that he should tell him when and with whom he coordinated to do it.

“I did not take any position. None. I made an interpretation of the facts, “said Gómez Leyva and they continued between bickering, between getting angry and not letting each other talk.

“I was not part of a state operation, with whom did I coordinate to give a point of view in a column, in a television commentary?” he asked.

When questioning Ibarra why he is so arrogant in saying that he is waiting for an apology from those who believed the historical truth about Ayotzinapa to be true, Ibarra replied:
