“El Retador” on Univision: Premiere Date and Time

Starting this Sunday, August 14, Univision will broadcast the successful international reality show “El Retador”, presented by the charismatic actress and comedian Consuelo Duval. Univision’s new show will air every Sunday at 8:00 PM Eastern Time.

Created by the producer of “Little Giants” Rubén Galindo, “El Retador” will bring together talented people of all ages and from all over Latin America and the United States to compete with the “Champions”, established artists in three different disciplines: Dance, Singing and imitation, for a chance to win a cash prize that rolls over week after week.

In this competition, participating as “Champions”: Mexican actor and comedian Arath de la Torre, Mexican singer and actress Dulce, Cuban television actor and singer Adrián di Monte, and Argentine television actress, host and dancer Pía Sanz .

At each gala of the show, two candidates will showcase their talent before a panel of renowned judges and will compete to win the title of “El Retador”. The winner will face the “Champion” in an exciting final competition, which will define their destiny in the program. It will be up to the audience to determine who will be the big winner.

The panel of judges for “El Retador” is made up of:

• Fonseca: Colombian singer known for his hit songs “Te mando flores” and “Eres mi sueño.” He has won several prestigious awards throughout his career and recently released his new album “Viajante”.
  Lupillo Rivera: Formerly known as “El toro del corrido” before changing his name to “Lupillo”, he is a world-renowned singer and songwriter. Before becoming a judge on “EL RETADOR”, he was a coach on the Mexican version of “La Voz”.
  Alicia Villarreal: Award-winning singer and songwriter from Mexico. She had a successful career as the lead singer of Grupo Limite before beginning her solo career.
