Carlos Villagrán, who played ‘Kiko’ on the show, is trending on social networks for having played the character at an event that took place in Honduras. Nevertheless, Although he was the subject of applause and praise from his fans, he also stood out for the wave of criticism he received.

And it is that for some it is not well seen that the actor continues to wind up his role as the son of “Doña Florinda” at 78 years of age. In a video that has been circulating on TikTok, The Mexican is seen dancing in the center of a stage as he did in ‘Ah que Kiko!’ 35 years ago.

To the rhythm of ‘Iknow you want me’, by Puerto Rican singer Pitbull, Villagrán brought out his best steps, while he performs the well-known mimicry that Federico did when he was preparing to do some important activity: saliva in both ears, bent knees and a playful pose.

However, the opinions of some Internet users were divided between those who praise his work at such an advanced age and who for the same reason criticize him for continuing to pigeonhole himself on paper.

“And that’s why it’s important to save for retirement”, “It’s funny, but not funny…”, “And he never got over the character!!”, “Me complaining because I’ve been doing the same thing for 6 years… already I will not say anything”, “You have to know when to retire”, “I think the best thing for him would be to retire”, were some reactions on TikTok.

Some speculated on the reasons why the artist is working at this point in life, since they comment that it does so because it is going through a complex economic situation. Likewise, his fans were present in the theater and filled his show with applause.

“Kiko, what beautiful memories, I went back in time to see him in action again”, “He is a millionaire, I don’t think he needs money, on the contrary, he feels alive to play that character”, “Many say: what needs to be done to swallow… I say: thanks for taking the time and continuing to have fun without having to do so”, they commented.

Carlos Villagrán has not come out to give any explanation about the criticism received and, much less, for his motivation to return to the stages of the continent to continue entertaining the Latin audience.
