Star Wars: Andor trailer

Toby Haynes directs this new episode, the third in his career, entitled They don’t listen to us!. The chapter comes to close block 3 of the first season, however, you will notice that it does not feel as “final” as episodes 3 and 6.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves: today, at Hobby Consoles, we bring you our review of Andor episode 9which you can already enjoy in the Disney Plus Spain catalog.

As usual, We will not delve into episode spoilers until we warn you otherwise, but we will talk in detail about events from previous chapters..

BAD TIMES IN NARKINA 5

Andor continues to wither in prison. the factory Narkina 5 seems to manage to break the spirit of his “guests”, although the character of diego moon He is not the typical prisoner who is quiet.

On the other hand, we find that Bix Caleen going to have a hard time during the interrogation of dedra meero in Ferrix. Be careful with this plot, because the photography team is going to leave us a very cool shot that will transport you to the original film of starwars. We already had a glimpse in the previous chapter.

Much of the episode almost 47 minutes, by the way, is used to continue the plot of the BSI, which continues to connect the dots and pull the strings to find Andor and his associates. It is ironic that, in fact, the Empire itself has him behind bars. Well, there are no bars, but you understand us.

And also there are advances in the plot of Mon Mothma, not to justify how tedious it has been at times, but there is a little twist that earns points. We will say no more.

END OF BLOCK?

We know that the prequel series of rogue one It will have a season 1 composed of 12 episodes that, in turn, are divided into 4 blocks of 3 chapters.

The first six chapters fulfilled that premise by heart, narrating two independent stories, although connected.

Andor 1x09

Nevertheless, this ninth episode of Andor does not leave us with that sense of closure that episodes 3 and 6 gave us. Although there are advances, in general terms it feels like a preparatory chapter.

We will have some moments of tension, but do not expect excessive action. At this point, we believe that Andor has already made it clear that the action is reserved for specific moments: It’s a spy thriller, but not Mission Impossible.

ATTENTION: From this point on, we will start talking about Andor episode 9 spoilers. If you haven’t seen it yet, we recommend doing so before reading on.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE

We’ve been complaining about Mon Mothma’s plot for a couple of weeks now and finally there’s an interesting twist to it. Vel Sartha is revealed to be the Chandrila senator’s cousin..

Not that the revelation adds much, beyond the well-known relationship that Mon Mothma, Vel and luthen rael. We will see how Vel plays that double life beyond the Chandrilana embassy on Coruscant.

Dedra Meero takes her relentless facet out for a walk again during Bix Caleen’s interrogation, and seems to be getting results, though much of it takes place off-camera.

As we anticipated last week, Syril Karn continues with her obsession in styleand as a gift he has become a stalker, although he has not chosen his target particularly well… or has he?

Oh, if that shot of the interrogation, with the door closing, and the guard walking down the hall, hasn’t transported you to the Star of death in the original film, you need an urgent revision of A new hope.

we end up in Narkina 5, where things seem to be getting complicatedthough not because of Andor. The sectors of the factory-prison that have given some trouble seem to be being “purged”, and we have those flashes of the island againhoping to get out, only to end very badly.

Andor says goodbye to his ninth episode with the prospect that an escape is brewing, with the characters of Andy Serkis and Diego Luna convinced that staying there will not end well for them. Let’s not forget what we discussed the other day: Kino Loy (Serkis) smells like pine, especially now that he’s allied with Cassian.
