From breaking music records to sweeping front row at fashion week, Blackpink is arguably the most stylish girl group of our time, and these outfits prove it.
blackpink is the most popular girl music group today. Since the release of his first album, Square OneAs of 2016, band members Jisoo Kim, Jennie Kim, Rosé Park and Lisa Manoban have broken numerous records with their high-energy pop music and gained a dedicated army of fans, also known as Blinks. But what is also worth noting is their personal style, as each member’s taste in fashion is different from the others. Plus, endorsed by brands like Chanel, Dior, Saint Laurent, and Celine, the Blackpink girls have proven that their global dominance extends far beyond music.
The 27-year-old South Korean-born likes to keep things chic and girly, while maintaining comfort when it comes to dressing. As a Dior brand ambassador, she comes as no surprise that creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri dedicated the brand’s fall/winter 2021 collection to Jisoo. In addition to dressing in Dior, the singer loves pieces by Rokh, Amiri and Loewe.
It’s no secret that 26-year-old Jennie is obsessed with Chanel. Having worn a multitude of Parisian powerhouse pieces, it’s clear the singer has a penchant for French girl style. Whether off duty or on the red carpet, Jennie has been seen wearing bouclé skirt suits, cardigans and little dresses in keeping with her classic style. Fun fact: Jennie is confirmed to appear in The Weeknd’s upcoming series, the idol, with Lily-Rose Depp.
Rosé, 25, has a knack for putting together an elegant and simple ensemble. With a huge collection of hoodies, high-waisted jeans, and cropped t-shirts, the singer’s vibe is very laid-back. But, true to being an official Saint Laurent girl, Rosé amps things up for evening events with statement party dresses. Her little monochrome moment with Anthony Vaccarello at the 2021 Met Gala is a prime example of this.
Lisa, 25, born and raised in Thailand before moving to South Korea, is Hedi Slimane’s muse, as well as being a brand ambassador for Celine. Her casual style mixes streetwear with luxe pieces: Acne Studios, Praying and Supreme (and Celine, of course) are among her favorite brands. But when it comes to nightwear, the rapper tends to err on the ultra-glam side of style (it comes to mind that stunning gold ensemble from Korean brand Pinkong at the Bulgari event in Paris).
