Trailer and release date for the documentary “Camilo: the first tour of my life”

Camilothe five-time Latin Grammy-winning and two-time Grammy-nominated Colombian artist, comes to HBO Max with his first concert special and documentary “Camilo: the first tour of my life”, which will premiere on Friday November 18.

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic nullified Camilo’s dream of performing in front of his growing number of fans, whom he calls “The Tribe.” Due to the impossibility of reaching his public in person, the global artist from Medellín focused on the recording of his second studio album, “My hands”.

In 2021, Camilo kicked off his first world tour in Spain, with special appearances by artists such as Fito y Los Fitipaldis, Dani Martin, Mau y Ricky, Pablo Alborán and Nicky Nicole. The documentary follows behind-the-scenes moments from those concerts and live performances, and includes hits like “Tutu”, “Dizzy”, “For The First Time”, “Baby”, “Expensive Clothes”, “Tattoo”.

It also offers a window into the intimate life of the artist, who shares special moments with his wife and professional partner, Evaluate Montaner. “La Tribu has become a gigantic family that shares the same mentality: love is our greatest revolution. For six months we toured incredible places that I never imagined I would visit with my music. We shared the stage with artists who became friends, we met wonderful people from all over the world, and so many incredible things happened that changed our lives forever,” Camilo said in a press release.

Then he continued: “I am happy because all those moments were documented and now we can share them with La Tribu, which is the engine of my career. It fills me with pride to be able to open this door for them to sing and relive the tour, and also for them to meet the people who accompany me every day and who make it possible for my songs and my music to be our meeting point”.
