Nikki Sixxthe day after the first concert, wanted to leave some nice words of admiration for Lee through Twitter: “The fact that the doctor told Tommy not to play with 4 broken ribs and that he stayed halfway through the concert is a miracle.. We are a band and we are proud of him. He is doing the whole tour and day by day adding more songs. What an animal! Has anyone out there ever broken their ribs?”
The drummer wanted to make it clear on the first day of the tour that he was injured and that he could not be 100% giving it his all at the concert with his fans. “I wish I had a good fucking story to tell, like me and Conor McGregor fighting in a fucking bar, but I don’t. Two weeks ago, I broke not one, not two, not three, but four fucking ribs. I’m not going to tell you how because it’s nothing amazing.”
Fortunately, the Mötley Crüe drummer soon felt better and, after a few dates, was able to take on the band’s entire set.
