The Colombian City That Is Among The Best 100 In The World

Colombia is constantly growing in innovation and entrepreneurship and in the last hours the capital of the Republic appeared in a prestigious ranking that highlights the best 100 cities in the world thanks to its business and investment capacity.

According to a study published by the international consultancy Brand Finance, which showed the results of the Inaugural City Index 2023 ranking, Bogotá is part of the seven best cities in Latin America.

Initially London tops the list. The capital of England is considered the best city in the world to live thanks to all the guarantees that its inhabitants can have, employability, security and quality of life. This city obtained a total score of 84.6 out of 100 points.

According to the consultant, the global survey was carried out on a total of 15,000 people in 20 different countries around the world and the results were recorded in April of this year.

They also announced that the survey participants were questioned about familiarity in competing cities, general reputation and “their personal consideration of each city as a place to live, work locally, work remotely, study, retire, visit or invest”.

Bogotá among the best cities in Latin America

“Mexico City, Santiago de Chile, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Bogotá” are the best-rated cities in Latin America, according to the results of the inaugural Brand Finance City Index ranking.

“Bogotá is a leading city in innovation and entrepreneurship in Latin America, with a thriving business ecosystem and a series of government policies and programs aimed at promoting business and technological development. According to the study, Bogotá is the city in the region with the highest score in business and investment (position 62), the attribute ‘ease of doing business’, occupying position 75 in the ranking in that category”, they added.
