The Public Company for the Management of Tourism and Sports of Andalusia, dependent on the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, has put out to public tender the contracting of “quantitative and qualitative studies of the media and economic return” of the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards ceremony, which will be held in Seville on November 16, as well as the “Andalucía brand” linked to that event. This is clear from the supporting report for the tender for this contract, consulted by Europa Press, with which said company of the Ministry of Tourism also wants to commission the “technical advice regarding compliance with advertising rights and assets” of said public company within the framework of the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards.

The estimated value of this contract, with an expected duration of four months, amounts to 90,000 euros (with a tender amount of 58,900 euros, VAT included). Its exact description is that of the “provision of services consisting of technical advice regarding compliance with the rights and advertising assets of the Public Company for the Management of Tourism and Sports of Andalusia, SA, and the carrying out of quantitative and qualitative studies of media and economic return of the event and of the Andalusia brand, Andalusian Government and European funds, within the framework of the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards”.



The purpose of this initiative is “the contracting and execution of the necessary technical advice” to, on the one hand, “guarantee compliance with the advertising rights and assets contemplated in the ‘2023 Latin Grammy Awards’ sponsorship contract during the year 2023”.

Said advice consists of “monitoring the execution of each and every one of the considerations of different types included in the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards sponsorship contract, including on-site trips to all the actions included in said sponsorship for the supervision of compliance with the provisions of the contract, the taking of audiovisual or graphic images of the same for the archive of Tourism and Sports of Andalusia and supporting documents of sponsorship and advice and transfer of information on the status of the situation on a monthly basis or when this is required by Tourism and Sports of Andalusia”.

With this initiative, the aim is to contract the “performance of quantitative and qualitative studies of the media and economic return of the ‘Andalucía brand’, Junta de Andalucía and Feder Funds in print, radio, television and abroad, at least nationally, in the United States and Latin America and globally in digital”.

With this assignment, the Junta intends to carry out “a specialized follow-up and analysis of the presence of the Andalucía brand, Junta de Andalucía and Feder Funds and/or mentions of sponsorship by the Junta de Andalucía with the co-financing of European funds that allows us to know what is the valuation, in economic terms, obtained by the aforementioned brands, including the information and references that appear in the media”. To carry out this study “the presence of these brands or mention must be measured in terms of presence, audience and economic value”, for which news broadcast on television, print media and magazines must be analyzed, as well as in radio programs and in foreign and digital media.

The supporting report for the contract details that whoever is awarded the same must “deliver a monthly report during the duration of the contract” and another “annual final” that includes, in each case, “in addition to the above, an opinion diagnosis (reputational value), on the one hand on the Andalusia brand, Junta de Andalucía and Feder Funds and, on the other, for the tourist destination Andalusia within the framework of the Latin Grammys”. The Public Company for the Management of Tourism and Sports of Andalusia has put out another contract for tender, also with an estimated value of 90,000 euros and an expected duration of four months, for the provision of services consisting of “technical advice and management tasks in audiovisual production for compliance with the rights and advertising assets of this public company, and for the best promotion of the Andalusia destination, within the framework of the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards”.

The purpose of this contract is “to hire a producer to carry out the technical advice and management tasks necessary to guarantee compliance with the rights and advertising assets contemplated in the sponsorship contract ‘Latin Grammy Awards 2023’ during 2023, as well as the taking of images and audio recording within the framework of this event aimed at better promoting the tourist destination Andalusia”.

Said advice, according to the supporting report, consists of “monitoring the execution of each and every one of the considerations of different types included in the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards sponsorship contract related to the audiovisual production of the event, also contemplating the carrying out of all the necessary steps with televisions for the best use of the presence of the Andalucía brand, the Junta de Andalucía and the European Funds of the broadcast on this medium within the framework of the Latin Grammys”.
