The musician Steve Vay, recognized worldwide for his virtuosity with the guitar, he attended a show by Manna in Los Angeles and was very pleased with the spectacle of Fher Olveraband vocalist, and company.
Through his Instagram account, the American music producer also shared a video of the concert and a message where included several compliments to the Mexican project.
“I went to see my good friend Sergio Vallín (guitarist) play with his band Maná,” Steve Vai wrote at the beginning of his post.
Then, he pointed out that Maná “is a sensational rock band within the Latin community”.
The popular guitarist said that this concert was the “eleventh night” of Maná “with sold out tickets at the Forum in Los Angeles”.
“Being in a sold-out stadium, with the entire audience on their feet and happily singing every word of every song, and sometimes crying, was a completely uplifting experience. It was electrifying”, described the musician.
Likewise, Steve praised his colleague on the instrument: “Sergio is a consummate professional with fantastic guitar skills and amazing tones.”.
Finally, the American artist commented: “It was a total treat for the ears and the band was engaging and powerful. Thank you so much for the amazing show and warm hospitality.”
It highlights that Maná also shared a publication on the social network about the presence of Steve Vai, “music icon”at his concert:
“What an honor to receive last night at our concert a music icon, an extraordinary guitarist, composer and producer, but, above all, an endearing human being.. Master Steve Vai and his wife Pia Vai”.
“Thank you, dear friend, for your music and for influencing so many guitarists around the world with your unique art!” added the Mexican band.
