Venezuelan singer Sofía Castillo will pay tribute to mothers with a presentation at the BOD Cultural Center’s Concert Hall, in La Castellana.
The show, entitled “Love songs and forever boleros”, will take place next Sunday, May 8, Mother’s Day, at 11:30 in the morning.
The 26-year-old interpreter, who comes out of the ranks of the National System of Choirs and Orchestras of Venezuela, spoke with Chevere.life about this presentation.
«I am going to do an intimate concert in which I am going to perform great hits of our Venezuelan music, but also boleros, such as ‘Contigo aprendí’, ‘Contigo en la Distancia’, ‘Sabor a mí’, ‘Kiss Me a lot‘, and ‘Historia de un amor’, one of the songs that fills me the most”, he commented.
Likewise, Sofía announced that “Love songs and forever boleros” will be a presentation full of emotion and feeling. In the same way, she said that the show will last 1 hour and 30 minutes and that she plans to sing 20 to 25 melodies.
On the other hand, the young vocalist revealed that the list of songs chosen for her concert represents a sentimental value for her. «Those songs were listened to by my grandparents and my mother and I grew up with that music, they have been with me throughout my artistic career and I cannot leave them out because they mean a lot to me. They take me back to my childhood, the music I listened to with my family and well, when I grew up it became part of me », she highlighted.
