So rebellious! RBD will not come to Colombia on his comeback tour

The world of Latin American music lovers waited for this moment for many years: the confirmation of a new concert tour by the Mexican group RBDwhich arose from Rebelthe popular television remake of the Argentine series Rebel way.

The Mexican soap opera was on the air between 2004 and 2006 and marked a milestone for a generation of Latin Americans. For this reason, for a long time, fans and Internet users speculated about the possibility that the protagonists of the program –Anahí, Dulce María, Maite Perroni, Alfonso Herrera, Christopher Uckermann and Christian Chávez– meet again to feed the nostalgia of their audience.

And the moment arrived: the band made the official announcement of the dates of the concerts that they will give in the American continent during 2023.

The expectation was such that throughout the continent several groups of fans met to wait together for the announcement of the dates of the presentations and the cities that the Mexican show would reach with songs of the type Save me, Our love, Another day that goes. The meeting places were Las Vegas, Chicago, Arlington

At the end of 2022, the group’s followers received a cold water bucket: Alfonso Herrera — Miguel Arango in the series—confirmed to the Mexican press that he was not going to be part of the group’s comeback. In Colombia, the expectations of seeing and hearing them again have also been deflated. They will not come to the country, after it was rumored that they would.
