The Senate of the Republic became a musical venue, as it was a space to pay homage to the rock group Swarm. Ricardo Monrealpresident of the Political Coordination Board (JUCOPO) awarded a recognition to the original band from Zacatecas.

The Township Band Frenillo gave a short concert that was applauded by fans and senators at the Session Hall.

The Congress recognized the band for its career of more than 20 years, since it started in 2002. They were also honored for their talent and effort, for reinventing themselves and capturing the context and reality that surrounds them; This was announced by the legislature through a press release.

Monreal Ávila, on behalf of the Senate, and as president of JUCOPO, was in charge of delivering the recognition to the members of the musical group.

“The Talent that emerges in their contexts adverse events is especially admirable and represents the cultural resistance against the negative aspects of everyday life, managing to harmonize the environment in which society lives”, said the candidate for the presidential candidacy of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) party.

Likewise, the former head of the Cuauhtémoc delegation said that Enjambre’s musical career is about persevering young who managed to stay united and faithful to their aspirations of sharing their music with the world, despite the difficulties.

He also added that the trajectory of the musicians must be recognized: “They are a living example of the talent and character that these young people have given us, great artists and personalitiesfor the pride of Mexico”.

At the same time, he revealed that he hopes that the recognition of Mexican youth talent will serve as a motivation and inspiration for people through music, and in this way the thousands of young people who begin to play an instrument with the dream of reaching the stage, achieve it.

Similarly, the senator urged lawmakers to strengthen public policies with which the youth of the country can find in the music a way of life.

On the other hand, Raphael Navajaswho works as the group’s bassist, thanked the band’s fans, whom he called “Swarm You Listen”; he declared that they are the ones who inspire them and fill them with motivation to continue with their work. Similarly, he thanked his homeland, Fresnillo, Zacatecas, the place where the famous Mexican rock band was born.

Meanwhile, the group’s vocalist, Luis Humberto Navejas He pointed out that it was an honor to be in the venue that he only knew about through history books, while he was grateful for the opportunity and sent blessings to Zacatecas and the Mexican Republic. “We knew we were writing our humble story, but we didn’t know we were going to get here”, he added.

At the same time, they pointed out that they have great affection for Mexico City, because that was where the band began to make itself known and from where they catapulted onto the national stage.

The ceremony was held in the Session Hall of the Upper House, and then moved to the Courtyard of Federalism who witnessed the tribute paid by the Captera group, originally from Cuajimalpa, Mexico City. There, the members of Enjambre took the opportunity to “take a pigeon” and take pictures with the legislators.

For his part, Monreal shared the transmission of the ceremony through a Twitter account where he stated: “His career inspires the new generations of national artists”.
