Santa Cruz festivities begin this Saturday the 14th with activities and concerts

The traditional festivals of Santa Cruz return for another year with international concerts with the participation of Grupo Niche, Eddie Herrera, Caliber 50 and Bronco. For these events you can still buy tickets on the specialticket portal.

The popular festivities of this canton of Guanacaste will be from Saturday, January 14 to Saturday, January 21 at the community fairground, with a wide range of activities, in which these international concerts stand out.

“We are waiting for you in Santa Cruz Guanacaste, where you will have, as always, love, comfort, grass for the mare and a log to tie her up,” said the president of the Santa Cruz 2023 National Typical Festivals Commission, Rafael Ángel Gutiérrez.

The first appointment will be on Saturday 14 with the presentation of Grupo Niche and Eddie Herrera, the activity will be from 11 in the morning to 11 at night.

The Niche group is a salsa group that was founded in Colombia and has been active since 1979. Eddie Herrera is a well-known merengue singer from the Dominican Republic.

The closing concert of the festivities will be in charge of the Mexican bands Caliber 50 and Bronco, both of regional Mexican music. The day they will play will be Saturday, January 21.

Some of Caliber 50’s best-known songs are “Look at us now”, “If I could lie to you”, “El corrido de Juanito”, and from Bronco “Love me like I love you” and “Corazón Bandido”.

In addition to these international concerts, the popular festivities in Santa Cruz will have more music at the Imperio awning, including Toledo, Shantty, Platinum Crew and a long list of DJs.

Among the activities that there will be the top that will be on January 14, there will also be marimba concerts, cimarronas, food sales, presentation of folkloric groups, dances and bullfights on a double day every day.
