“With Queen you see a phenomenon that is rare to see. It makes us very happy to see that young generations pursue Queen’s music and here we are to show and represent what Queen was at that time”, he detailed, in addition to explaining that this phenomenon is also replicated with other artists of the decade of the years. eighty.

“It is a music that apparently does not go out of style, it encompasses many styles, many musical facets that the people who listen to it today continue to like. In addition, the image that Freddie left as a showman, by characterizing us and showing the public what it was like to see Freddie Mercury up on stage it also generates magic, maybe it’s a bit of all that”, added the drummer.

Matthias describes Freddie Mercury as a representative figure for musicians and spectators alike; the strength of whoever was the most popular frontman and his social relevance prevails even years after his death. However, being a drummer, Albornoz found in Roger Taylor another idol from whom to learn and be inspired.

“As a frontman, Freddie Mercury was a world icon, he was a very heavy figure, that will last because there are many artists today who have him as a reference, we are one of those cases. With respect to Roger Taylor too, was my figure to achieve, having him as a reference and as an idol, trying to imitate his touch, that was forming each one of us”, finished the drummer.
