Open the call for “Argentine Music for the World”, a program to produce musical shows

The Ministry of Culture of the Nation has just launched “Argentine Music for the World”, a program to encourage the production of musical shows created jointly through its Secretariat for Cultural Development in association with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Ministry of Productive Development. This initiative seeks support solo musicians and / or bands from all over the country through a non-refundable amount of money.

Likewise, it is necessary for applicants to be registered in the Federal Register of Culture of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation. It is worth clarifying that the same human and / or legal person can only be registered once (either in the individual or group category).

The Secretary of Cultural Development will receive and analyze the applications and will be in charge of the production of the MICA scenarios. In addition, The contents resulting from this proposal will be added to the catalog for the MICA digital platform. For its part, the Ministry of Tourism will provide the natural settings for the performance of the recitals and the production of audiovisual material.

Through the FONDEP (National Productive Development Fund), a budget of $ 180,000,000 (one hundred and eighty million pesos) will be allocated to cover the expenses of assistance to the artists for the performance of their shows. It is therefore a great opportunity for national artists to generate and promote their creations with a production in face-to-face format that can then be disseminated through virtual means.
