On Video: Daddy Yankee's Reaction To Seeing The Statue They Made In Chile

‘La Última Vuelta World Tour’ is the last tour of one of the reggaeton singers who most revolutionized the genre, Daddy Yankee. The show promises to offer an unforgettable encounter, despite the fact that it also implies a goodbye to the stage.

A few months ago, the reggaeton player pointed out that saying goodbye to his career will allow him to focus on other projects that he has in mind and that he is calm before this new stage of his life.

Precisely, this Tuesday, September 27, it was presented at the National Stadium, located in the Chilean capital, Santiago de Chile. There, thousands of fans vibrated to the rhythm of ‘Gasolina, ‘Rompe’, ‘Calmly’, ‘What happened happened’, ‘Dura’, ‘Limbo’ and other great classics by the artist.

Following its great success, the music platform Spotify gave him a big surprise, a statue in his honor installed in the National Stadium.

He was captured on video by his label, El Cartel Records, when he saw for the first time the life-size statue that will be removed from the site on September 29 to be relocated to the Subcentro Shopping Center, also in Santiago.

In an official statement, Spotify congratulated the artist and reported that ‘Gasolina’, one of Yankee’s undisputed hits, has more than 5 million listeners in Chile. Likewise, they highlighted that the singer is present in the playlist of millions of users of different generations thanks to its consistency in the industry.

But, Chile is not his only, nor last, destination. The artist will be in Cali on October 7, on October 14 he will perform in Barranquilla; 15, 16 and 17, in Medellin; while in Bogotá the show will be October 8, 9 and 12.
