After convincing in his last concerts in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and waiting for his gig this week in Gijón, Fito is still on the road this year until next April 1, where his tour will end in Valladolid. His music will continue to play in February at Bilbaogiven that The FICC Terminal (Pintor 1, Zuluaga 3), in Zorrotzaurre, will host a tribute concert to Fito and Fitipaldis and their former band, Platero y Tú, the February 3rd in which “around twenty” musicians and artists from Biscay will participate.
The tribute, which will take place at 8:30 p.m. and whose entrance is free, already has the guaranteed participation of Tessi Rocking Boys, The Auroras, Cosmic Bears, Badmoon Covers, Gorka Endaya… The evening is part of a cycle that organizes tribute concerts to great figures of music or movements once a month. The most recent have been to Basque Radikal Rock, Elvis Presley, American Music or David Bowie. “The normal thing is that about twenty musicians sign up and the influx of public is usually high”, they explain from the organization to DEIA.
These concerts are organized by La Hacería and La Terminal, with the collaboration of La Salve, Zarata and La Caixa, and the support of the Basque Government, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Bilbao City Council.
