Last Tuesday, the band left the Juan Martín community, in Celaya, at 3:00 pm. They were going to Rancho Seco, where they had planned a concert. Eight hours later, in the town of San José el Nuevo, the bodies were found, which took several days to be identified. Seven were found in the van and the other body was later found in the same area.

According to the attorney general of the state of Guanajuato, Carlos Zamarripa Aguirre, quoted in press reports, the musicians and other members of the band were killed in a different place than where they were found. Most of them were young. Their bodies were identified with the support of relatives and DNA tests.

His last publication on social networks was on March 21, in a presentation at a children’s party. The band, with a long history, was known in the area and played at patron and private parties.

The Guanajuato attorney general did not give details about the investigation, but assured that results would be forthcoming.
