“Mission Accomplished”, Jenni Rivera’s family releases the singer’s unreleased single

The family of the singer Jenni Rivera (1969-2012) released this Wednesday “Mission accomplished”, an unpublished song written by the artist and discovered by one of her children, in which she relives her beginnings in the band genre.

“She had much more to offer and her fans deserve much more,” said Jacquie Rivera, the artist’s daughter.

In memory of his mother, the Rivera family and the Sony Music label presented the new song, which will be part of a new album by the “Band Diva”who died in a plane crash in December 2012.

It is a new production since 2019, when they presented the song “Aparentmente bien”.

With the new single, produced by Sergio Lizárraga and Pavel Ocampo, “The last mission of Jenni Rivera is fulfilled”, held his daughter.

The song was the most recent discovery of Jenni’s youngest son, Johnny López, who last April found the artist’s audio.

“We, her children, feel that we are completing a mission on her behalf by releasing this production that she was working on. When she was with us we never realized what a great star she was. To us she was simply our mom,” said Jacquie Rivera.

But with this new song, the also CEO of Jenni Rivera Enterprises, “We are recognizing the icon that Jenni Rivera continues to be, and giving her fans a gift.”

“We are sure that the public will receive this new project with the same love with which we are doing it,” he added.

The family pointed out that “Mission Accomplished” refers to the man who fought to win her heart.

It also refers to the music, the stages and the audience, which fulfilled their own mission in the life of Jenni, “who at first did not want to be an artist, but ended up surrendering to the love of her followers.”

Directed by Marlon Villar, the music video follows the life of Jenni Rivera from childhood to her status as a musical icon.

In addition to the new single, Jenni Rivera Enterprises will open a store in Los Angeles (California) with products in memory of the artist in the coming days, and will continue its efforts with the Jenni Rivera Love Foundation, which supports women and their children who have suffered domestic violence.

The singer and songwriter Jenni Riveraborn in Long Beach (California), died with six other people in a plane crash near Monterrey, Mexico, on December 9, 2012.

In December 2014, Mexican authorities closed the investigation into what happened to the plane. The director of Mexican civil aviation, Gilberto Gómez Meyer, stated that the results of the plane crash must once again be conclusive and that they are unable to determine the exact cause of the accident.
