Live music on all four sides in Baiona: Sons do Casco returns – Metropolitano

The live music route of Baiona returns this weekend by the hand of “Sounds of the Hull”. The program, which was born with the aim of “invigorating and seasonally adjusting the cultural and leisure offer” It will be held this Friday the 10th, Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th of September with a total of 12 groups musicals with different styles such as jazz, blues, funk, flamenco, DJ, rock or pop.

The performances will be held in three different stages located in the Praza do Concello, Praza de Santa Liberata and in Rúa Carabela Pinta. Some alternative scenarios to those of previous editions due to the security measures that must be followed due to the health crisis of COVID-19.

“With initiatives like these we want to participate in the economic reactivation of the municipality, the musical route Sons de Casco comes to put the icing on the Baiverán cultural agenda, a complete program that has offered all kinds of shows for all audiences throughout the months of July, August and September ”, explains the mayor of Baiona, Carlos Gómez Prado.

All concerts are free with free access to the perimeter enclosure until full capacity is reached, that will be between 100 and 150 people per performance. The opening day will be given by Urbano Cabrera with a concert at Praza do Concello between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm.

The Saturday, the concerts will take place from 12:00 to 21:45 and will be distributed between the Praza do Concello, Praza de Santa Liberata and Rúa Carabela Pinta. Thus, the Smithsonian will open at 12:00 (Praza do Concello) and will continue with Movilla and Los Irrepetibles at 13:00 (Praza Santa Liberata), Frans Banfield at 18:00 (Praza do Concello), The Rockabilly Duet at 19:00 (Praza do Concello), La Buena Vida at 20:00 (Carabela Pinta) and Martín Rigz Trio at 21:00 (Praza do Concello).

Finally, the Sunday the performances will be held between 12:00 and 21:00. They will start at Praza do Concello with Dr. Slump and will continue at 1:00 p.m. with Up 2 You (Carabela Pinta), at 6:00 p.m. with Jugonesss (Praza do Concello), at 7:00 p.m. with Iwazuk ( Santa Liberata) and at 8:00 p.m. it will end with Antonio Seijo & Skylight on Rúa Carabela Pinta.
