Alejandro Fernandez broke down in tears during a concert, and is that the feelings more than ever are on the surface. Almost a week after the death of his father, Vicente Fernández, “El Potrillo” took the stage at the Telmex Auditorium in Guadalajara in what is his first concert after the death of “El Charro de Huentitán.”
At the beginning of the concert, Fernández asked for a loud applause for his father, who died on December 12 after being hospitalized due to a fall that he suffered months ago.
“Thank you, very good evening, how nice to be here in Guadalajara, nice and dear! The wait has been long, many of us have suffered, some have left us. Tonight I invite you to let music be our medicine, to unite us, to fill us with joy and a lot of pride. I want you to know that the last time my father stepped on a stage was right here. Let’s celebrate his life tonight with applause that reaches up to heaven “Alejandro Fernández said before starting to sing.
During the concert of “El Potrillo” he brought his son Alex Fernández to the stage, who, wearing a red suit, performed “Time does not forgive.”
While Alex Fernández sings the song, his father cannot control the tears that flow from his eyes while you are sitting listening to your son sing this beautiful song and at one point in the song they both merge into a sentimental hug.
Alex Fernández is one of those who has said goodbye to Vicente Fernández in a very emotional way. The grandson of “El Charro de Huentitán” dedicated some beautiful words to him from his Instagram account and remembered the last photo he took with his grandfather.
“This is the last photo I have with you, tata … We were toasting Mía’s arrival in the world… I don’t have enough words to describe how I feel…. I can only tell you that you are my idol, I thank you for all the support and unconditional love that you always gave me, all my life, and that you also know that you were always like a father to me … I love you as you cannot imagine … I always go to be missed … Now you live in my heart, I am sure that you will always accompany me everywhere to guide me and take care of me. DEP ”, he expressed.
