Latin Grammy Awards 2021: Nathy Peluso, Vicentico and Andrés Calamaro among the winners

A few hours ago the award ceremony of the Latin Grammy 2021 and there were several Argentines who were raised with statuettes during that evening. The first to be crowned was Nathy Peluso, who received the award in the category of Best Alternative Music Album for his album Muscle cramp during the premiere that took place before the start of the event.

For its part, Vincentian was left with several awards: Best Rock Album for The Shining Well and Best Rock Song for “Now 1“. At the same time, Andrés Calamaro shared the Grammy for Best Pop / Rock Song with C. Tangana as co-composer and co-interpreter of “Hong Kong”, a song in which Alizzz, Jorge Drexler and Víctor Martínez also participated.

Fito Paez, who at the beginning of the year was honored with a Grammy, this time received the Award for Musical Excellence from the Latin Recording Academy. He also presented with Maria Becerra the shortlist for Best Pop Vocal Album, category in which the Colombian rose Camilo as the victor. As for more traditional music, Red Tango (Los Angeles-based quintet) won the victory in the Best Tango Album section for its Tinto Tango Plays Piazzolla.
