Histeria presents his album “Sistema de Tormentas” which contains seven songs from which the singles “Medicina” and “Confesión” had been released. With the album, the new song “Aprender a Volar” is also presented.
“Sistema de Tormentas” is the second material from the musical group and consists of seven songs, two of which, “Medicina (Vos sos la cura)” and “Confesión”, were released as promotional singles in December 2021 and August 2022 respectively, and they already have video clips available on YouTube.
Despite the obstacles that the band encountered along the way, the material was finished in May 2022. Rodolfo Garay (Intellecto Estudios) was in charge of mixing and mastering what would become the album. The proposal is a mixture of alternative rock and modern pop-punk, exchanging the scratchy chords of fifths with somewhat more elaborate riffs than in the band’s first material: “Escapar” from 2019.
The inclusion of the speeches borders on the element of the “spoken-word” or spoken word, and is reflected in the songs Trapped and Invisible. At the same time, the inclusion of a sample from the well-known series from the late ’90s -Dawson’s Creek- can be seen in the bridge of the song “Learn to Fly” whose video clip will be available on November 22, elements that show an approach something experimental.
During the recording of the material, a process of maturity and growth was experienced that the band had been looking for, in order to be able to conquer new spaces and horizons, demonstrating the desire to revive and strengthen pop-punk on the local scene.
Histeria has an important acceptance for a band that has only 3 years in the scene. A fresh and energetic musical proposal that seeks to get into the playlists of the audience. The members of Hysteria They are: Macarena Olmedo (Voice), Cesar Chávez (Guitar), Sebastián Arias (Bass) and Manuel Salazar (Drums).
