Mexico City — The lawyer Jesús Hernández Alcocer, who allegedly murdered his wife Yrma Lydya at the Suntory restaurant in Colonia del Valle, died early Tuesday morning in the North Reclusorio of Mexico City at the age of 79.
Prison authorities confirmed that the litigant was found dead in his cell and in the next few hours the causes of his death will be determined.
The 21-year-old singer was murdered on June 24.

Last July, the Secretariat for Citizen Security (SSC), through the Undersecretary for the Penitentiary System, denied that Jesús Hernández Alcocer had had access to conjugal visits.
“The person in reference does not have conjugal visits until he meets the requirements for it,” said the SSC.
According to the SSC, the lawyer did not have a television either, as had been said, due to the temporary nature of his admission to the North Prison, since to use it he would have had to do so through a request to the Technical Committee and meet the necessary requirements.
The unit stated that it did have access to public telephones that are in the bedrooms under established hours, like other inmates, which is part of their rights.
Due to his age, he was in a dormitory with a vulnerable population due to being an older adult.
According to a report from the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City (SSC), on September 11, at 11:19 pm Hernández Alcocer was transferred from the North Reclusorio to the Ticomán General Hospital due to dizziness and confusion. .
In the hospital, he was diagnosed with cerebrovascular infarction confirmed by the corresponding tomography.
On September 12, he was discharged and re-entered the prison.
On the morning of Tuesday, October 4, his cellmate reported during the roll call that Hernández Alcocer was feeling unwell.
At 10:38 am he was transferred to the medical service, where he arrived at 10:40 am, where he died.
