Jamaica coach: “Destroying the (Guatemalan) fans was motivation”

He argued: “The Guatemalan support (fans) I think that in the end that was the key. We knew what we were facing. Destroying the fans was motivation (for the team) ”.


Concacaf confirmed the matches and schedule for the 2023 Gold Cup semifinals. Both matches will be played on July 12, with Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego hosting United States-Panama (5:30 p.m. GT), followed by Jamaica- Mexico at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (8:00 p.m. GT).

The winners of the semifinals will advance to the final, scheduled for Sunday, July 16 at SoFi Stadium in the Los Angeles metropolitan area (5:30 p.m. GT).
