From Pink Floyd to Pablo Camacaro: the System meets everything in concert | SU

This week, the Simón Bolívar Hall of the National Center for Social Action for Music will kick off the cultural calendar on Friday, October 28, at 5:00 pm, with a concert by the Simón Bolívar Symphonic Rock Orchestra that will offer a show entitled “Building The Wall”. Fans will be able to enjoy a trip through the classics, before and after the wall made by Pink Floyd and sing the most famous songs of rock and roll, all under the direction of Luis Rodrigues Aray.

This concert will be divided into two parts, the first will feature pieces such as welcome to the jungle, Livin’ on a prayer Y detroit rock city that constitute the group’s frequent repertoire and includes classic bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Black Sabbath, Alan Parsons Project, AC/DC and Iron Maiden.

During the second phase of the concert, the group that brought to life multiple shows in tribute to bands like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dream Theater; Symphonic Coldplay and Symphonic Queen, on this occasion, will present, for the first time, a tribute to the iconic band Pink Floyd, focusing the repertoire on this group, where their most emblematic songs such as Another brick in the wall, mother Y Comfortably Numb.

Later, on Saturday, October 29, at 5:00 pm, as a cultural exchange scheduled within the bilateral relations between Turkiye and Venezuela, the Turkish Lyric Gala will be held, a show conducted by Abner Padrino, in which the brilliant voices soloists Görkem Ezgi Yildirim, Tuğba Mankal and Ezgi Karakaya will stand out together with the harmonious chords of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra. This lyrical gala will feature works by composers Gioachino Rossini, Francesco Cilea, Gaetano Donizetti, Giacomo Puccini, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Charles Gounod, Kalman, Bizet, Strauss, Lehar, Offenbach, Velázquez and Deza; in addition to a repertoire where the works Romeo et Juliette stand out; Carmen “Seguidilla”; Semiramide and two pieces of Turkish folklore.

To close the weekend, the Alma Llanera Orchestra of the Capital District together with its artistic director Edward Bogado will offer a magical concert with beautiful melodies by maestro Pablo Camacaro, entitled “Music, stories and dreams.”

In this concert, through a musical thread of the compositions of one of the most prestigious and recognized masters in the history of traditional Venezuelan music, stories, memories and experiences of the roots of Pablo Camacaro will be evoked.
