With the arrival of the month of October, one of the most anticipated festive events of the season is recovered in the capital, after two years absent due to the pandemic: the Fiestas del Pilar. The celebration will take place precisely in the Pilar neighborhood, specifically in the Parque de la Vaguada fairgrounds, between October 7 and 12and will be full of concerts and all kinds of sports and leisure activities.

At 9:00 p.m., the main concert will be performed by the group Siempre Así, to continue the night later, at 11:00 p.m., with the performance of Dj Valdi and Dj Adrián Cervera.
As for the weekend, on Saturday the 8th, Children’s Day will be celebrated between 11:30 and 14:30 and between 16:30 and 19:00, with games, a climbing wall, table football, video games and go-karts, among other activities. At 5:30 p.m., there will be a workshop for the Municipal Police Driver Education Classroom. At 9:30 p.m. it will be the turn of the music, with a performance as opening act by Tres Caladas and the main concert by David Otero. Already at 00.00 hours, Dj El Pulpo will be in charge of animating the end of the party.
On Sunday 9, at 12 noon, there will be a children’s musical show called ‘Rock Stars For Kids’. In the afternoon, at 6:00 p.m., the Chocolatada will arrive. An hour later, Karina will begin her concert, which will continue with the dance of the Fifth Note Orchestra.
On Monday 10, the Pop-Rock music festival stands out at 7:00 p.m., with performances by the groups Muren, Ladmiro and Tangerine Flavour. A day later, it will be the turn of the concert of Modestia Apart, at 9:00 p.m., and Picocos Band, at 11:00 p.m. At 00.00, Dj Lady Cherry will put the finishing touch on Tuesday night.
The last day of the Fiestas del Pilar, Wednesday the 12th, will begin with the Kanbahiota circus parade, giving way half an hour later to the morning dance of the Orquesta Atlántida. At 8:00 pm, María del Monte will close this year’s concerts with her performance. The final point will be the fireworks, at 10 pm, in the Parque de la Alcazaba.
