Evanescence: This is the new lineup of the band, between replacements and internal changes | rock garage

After the departure of the guitarist Jen Majura of Evanescence, many fans were wondering who would take his place; however, in the end we had two changes.

On June 5, the band’s new tour of Europe began, with Athens, Greece being the first place to visit. At that concert we had the opportunity to see the new lineup of the group from now on.

As we anticipated, there were two changes: The new member is Emma Anzal of the group Sick Puppies, who is in charge of the bass; in the meantime, Tim McCordwhom we always saw with his four strings in Evanescencenow he changed his position to that of guitarist.

Evanescence shared a welcome message to Emma Anzal: «We’ve been friends and fans for years, and the time has finally come to join forces. emma will fulfill a double function, since soon we will have some shows with Sick Puppies. So get ready for that!»

They also explained the internal change with Tim McCord: «After 16 years in the band as our rock solid bass player, Tim is taking a turn on its original instrument. Spoiler alert: he’s great at it.».

Amy readsvocalist of the band, also decided to share his opinion about the recent changes in the group: «Making a positive change in your life (and your band) can be really hard. Some decisions are made by us, others are made for us. But what we are in the end is how we handle what comes our way».

He continued: “Today is a great day in my band. Taking another step forward with my brothers who have been by my side for over 15 years, and welcoming a beautiful friend with whom we are so excited to share the stage… I am happy».
