After beginning at the Zaragoza Auditorium with the presentation of ArteSonado, the Saulus Festival continues this week with performances by Brudieu Ensemble Y the refectory which will feature the composer Bernat Vivancos like invited.

One of the special concerts of this edition will be that of the Ensemble Brudieu on Saturday October 1 at the Church of San Pablo. The set presents Officium Defunctorum Urgellensisa concert that seeks to recreate how the interpretation of the Mass for the Dead by the composer could have been Joan Brudie in the XVI century. He highlights the careful and meticulous musicological work in the selection of the repertoire, alternating plainsong with polyphony by authors such as Christopher de Morales, John of Anchieta, etc. and tientos for organ by Antonio de Cabezón, all of them works chosen from different contemporary sources.

The Sunday 2 October the Church of the Royal Seminary of San Carlos Borromeo hosts the performance of El Refectorio, which on this occasion will feature a guest composer, Bernat Vivancos, one of the most internationally renowned in our country. This contemporary composer, who cultivates sacred music above all, is the author of the version with choral arrangements I stay with you with which Rosalia surprised at the 2019 Goya gala and became one of the most played works on YouTube at that time.
