Decentraland Y kraken are organizing a festival music Metaverse with more than 200 artists in more than 15 stages for four days. But users still seem to prefer virtual lands to a virtual music festival.

This is now a possibility with the Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival #DCLMVMF22a four-day celebration of music, innovation, culture and creativity.
Decentraland, released in 2020, is a virtual social world. It is powered by blockchain ethereum and claims to be the first decentralized metaverse. This virtual reality platform hosts the music festival from November 10 to 13.
The festival is free and does not require tickets or a VR headset. Yes, you heard right.
But visitors must pre-register for the event on a dedicated website.
Decentraland is partnering with crypto exchange Kraken to host the Festival of Metaverse music. All events and activities are listed on the page dedicated to the festival event.
Various other brands, including Limewire and the music festival Ozzy Osbourne’s Ozzfest, they are sponsoring specific scenarios and creating their own brand experiences. The list also includes top DJs like Gramatik, Yokoo, Arapu and Plastik Funk.
Ozzfest will include viewing access VIP and portable merchandise Free exclusively for holders of NFT Osbourne’s CryptoBatz. The holders of NFT will be able to “drink a potion”, transform into a bat and fly to a private balcony to see the shows from a much closer point of view. This is in addition to free and exclusive wearables.

How to attend?
As mentioned above, visitors must register to enter the event. Decentraland recommended using the desktop client for a faster and more stable connection with better graphics.
The official blog said: “There will be a lot going on at the festival, so you don’t want to limit yourself just to a browser experience. If you’re new to Decentraland, you can find a short guide on what to expect here.
Once inside the festival, one can run from one stage to another.
Iara Dias, the producer of the Metaverse Music Festival in Decentralandsays the event is designed to recreate some of the aspects of real-life music festivals while also playing with new possibilities in the metaverse. “We want people to be fascinated by the festival”, said. “We can push the boundaries of physics and at the same time be safe.”

The first edition of the Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival last year was attended by great artists such as 3Lau, Alison Wonderland, Deadmau5 and Paris Hilton on the stage.
As reported by BeInCrypto, music festival Decentraland last year had 50,000 attendees unique in the first MVMF.
But, what about the festival in progress? Are users flocking to the network?
Concert without public?
An Oct. 21 Decentraland report noted that “despite the economic uncertainty currently facing markets, interest in metaverse platforms continues to solidify at an increasing rate.”
Decentraland has maintained a UAW (Unique Active Wallets) constant around 800 daily since May, a trend that mostly still holds to this day.

Nevertheless, BeInCrypto noted that the metric dropped to 380 in the second week of October, which suggests that the participation in the next festival would not be very high.
This feeling too is repeated when considering the fall of social networks and the traction of the social engagement of the platform. While there has been an increasing number of social mentions over the past three days, social engagement has been trending down over the same period, hitting a series of lower lows.
So the question arises: Where are all the Decentraland users?
Users want virtual lands, not music festivals

Furthermore, virtual land tokenized as NFTs in Decentraland recently sold for $3,818 (5,980 MANA ), which is 1.70 times the current minimum price. Land NFTs are comprised of more than 97,000 land lots, each measuring 16m x 16m or 52sq.ft.
