“From Jackson to Hollywood and Beyond”that’s the title you gave it David Ellefson the tour of his professional career in music with which he completed his return to his hometown, Jackson, Minnesota, where he had the opportunity to reunite and perform again with his high school band, coughin which there was also another illustrious figure on the scene, who was also an original member of Megadeth, Greg Handevitt.
This reunion took place last July 29 During this year’s edition of the jackson county fairof which the social networks of those involved have served to show us the moments lived in this meeting. In the words of the bass player: “What a super fun time talking and performing with my high school classmates and our Toz band at the Jackson County Fair in Jackson, Minnesota this weekend! Every time I go back to Jackson I am more and more Grateful for the wonderful life I had growing up in Minnesota and for the lifelong friends, family, and community we are lucky enough to be a part of!”

Ellefson continued to show his enthusiasm for this event: “In my opinion, any concert is a concert to be thanked for, from the smallest and most intimate to the largest stadium I have ever played. Every opportunity to perform for people is a privilege, and especially to do it in Jackson, and of I’m new to the Jackson County Fair, which is the biggest concert in town. So, for me, I was excited. I said ‘yes’ right away. I’m really excited. But also, when Tom asked me, he said: Would you be willing to call up some of the guys from your old band and get it back together?” I thought this is a great opportunity to do it, just to reconnect with some lifelong friends, where it all started in music for me. back in Jackson. And I’ve traveled the world many times, and to bring it all back home to Jackson is just… a pleasure and a privilege.”
