MEXICO — Regional Mexican singer Christian Nodal resumed his 2022 concert tour, with three successful performances last weekend, after a well-deserved vacation where he dedicated himself to resting and composing music.
The creator of the so-called “mariacheño” style, sang for more than 50 thousand followers for three days in different concerts. He began in Bucaramanga, Colombia, where he made 20,000 people sing at the Bonita Fair that celebrated Bucaramanga’s 400th anniversary.
Then followed the Multiforo in the northern Mexican state of Zacatecas, where some 12,000 people danced and sang with Nodal; to end with a resounding full house in Palenque de Arandas, in the western state of Jalisco.
“Reconnecting with my audience is my fuel for the soul, seeing them sing, dance, get emotional with my music is everything I’ve always dreamed of. Thank you for continuing to accompany me every step of the way, and now I’ll be waiting for you on the tour of the United States. Do not forget that I love you, ”said Christian Nodal at the end of a weekend full of blessings, according to his publicist.
As Nodal himself expressed it, this September 15 begins the new tour of the United States, appearing in San José, California, continuing with the most important cities in the country.
Born in the northern city of Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, Christian Nodal is the fastest growing artist in the regional Mexican music genre, fusing the classic sounds of mariachi music with the accordion to create the “mariacheño” , a term he himself coined.
Currently, he is the Mexican regional singer-songwriter who has had the most songs within the Top 100 of Spotify Mexico, in the Mexican regional category. On that platform, his monthly listeners exceed 14 million. On Apple Music he registers more than 10 million followers per month.
