MEXICO — Regional Mexican singer Christian Nodal resumed his 2022 concert tour, with three successful performances last weekend, after a well-deserved vacation where he dedicated himself to resting and composing music.
The creator of the so-called “mariacheño” style, sang for more than 50 thousand followers for three days in different concerts. He began in Bucaramanga, Colombia, where he made 20,000 people sing at the Bonita Fair that celebrated Bucaramanga’s 400th anniversary.
Then followed the Multiforo in the northern Mexican state of Zacatecas, where some 12,000 people danced and sang with Nodal; to end with a resounding full house in Palenque de Arandas, in the western state of Jalisco.

Born in the northern city of Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, Christian Nodal is the fastest growing artist in the regional Mexican music genre, fusing the classic sounds of mariachi music with the accordion to create the “mariacheño” , a term he himself coined.
