THE LUCID and DIETH bassist and ex-MEGADETH david ellefson has spoken to Knack.Com about his project with the ex-MEGADETH guitarist Jeff Young KINGS OF THRASH.
“We’re deciding as we write because it doesn’t have to be thrash, it doesn’t even have to have a MEGADETH origin. And even if it had that origin, it wouldn’t have to sound like that. It has to be us, who we are today. KINGS OF THRASH is that, play the music of yesterday, then we will decide if the new music, to fit, should be Jeff Young and david ellefson doing something together. Ellefson-Young. I think that’s one of the fun things about it, to let it come into its own, I think that’s the best place to go with the creative stuff.”
