Steven Mesa Londoño, better known as Blessd, had a bad time at the end of one of his presentations. The paisa artist had to be controlled by his security scheme so that the confrontation would not escalate.
Blessd is one of the most prominent figures in the new wave of Colombian reggaeton. The young man has stood out for his singles as a solo artist and collaborations with figures such as Maluma, J Balvin and Ryan Castro.
To take advantage of the summer festivals, the artist is promoting his songs on a concert tour of the old continent. Although on social networks he has been grateful to be in Europe, not everything has been pleasant for the Colombian.
In the last hours, a video of the output of one of the presentations of the urban musician was known. In the footage, Blessd is seen trying to move through the crowd, when a man appears out of nowhere and grabs him by the neck.
The stranger’s gesture didn’t please the paisa who immediately turned around to free himself from the man’s hook. Blessd, visibly upset, turned away from his security team and went to confront the attacker.
The 22-year-old tried to return the physical attack but his bodyguards reacted in time and went after him to prevent an escalation of violence between the two men.
The 30-second recording shows the surprise of the other people who were at the scene when they saw what happened. Finally, the Colombian is removed from the situation and taken to the car that was waiting for him to leave the site.
In social networks the comments have not been long in coming. Netizens condemned the behavior of some fans. However, some also criticized the singer’s reaction.
(We recommend: Aida Victoria and Naldy would not be having a good time).
Blessd has been making urban music for years from Medellín and although he was known by many, his fame did not explode until his first collaboration with Maluma a few months ago.
At the end of 2021, he established himself as one of the most promising artists of the coming years in Colombia. The paisa already has some numbers that show its global reach.
His latest single ‘Instagram’ exceeded 50 million views on YouTube. It has also been streamed over 35 million times on the Spotify platform.
In Colombia it has already been the number one song and in other Latin American countries it reached number nine. Blessd was invited to participate in the Billboard Latin Music Week, one of the most important Hispanic music festivals in the world.
