Blackpink’s first virtual concert in PUBG MOBILE breaks records

The videogame PUBG-MOBILE held since last July 22 a series of concerts with K-pop stars, blackpink. Within this In-Game show where the song ‘Ready For Love’ was premiered, the world audience record was broken as the largest concert in a video game with more than 12,500,000 people.

What you should know about Blackpink

This female South Korean musical group was formed by YG-Entertainment and is made up of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. These singers became famous with a single that debuted on Squre One in August 2016. However, other of their releases such as “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love” have also become international hits.

In 2019, this group was the first female K-pop group to perform at one of the largest music festivals in the US, Coachella. Then in October 2020, the South Korean quartet released their first full-length album called “The Album” which has topped the charts and has been recognized with numerous awards. A recent milestone was that the group performed their first live concert on YouTube on January 31, 2021.

To celebrate this collaboration and the record they broke, this Friday, August 5, from 2 to 8 PM at a restaurant inside the mall Fortune Encounterlocated at 334 Fortuna Avenue, within the Magdalena de las Salinas neighborhood, in the Gustavo A. Madero delegation, will hold an event hand in hand with international cosplayers.
