The leader of the Polish Death-Black Metal band urges his followers to find a “proper” job

Adam’Nergal‘ Darski, leader of the Polish group BEHEMOTHhas suggested to young people that erase the idea of creating bands from your mind and dedicate themselves to music, and has insisted that the best they can do is study and find a job.

In an interview for Chaoszine [podéis verla más abajo]Nergal declares:

Do not mount any band. I’m not kidding. Don’t do it. The world is saturated with bands, records, albums. Really there is no room for anything. There are only seven days a week. There are too many tours everywhere. There are too many concerts.

People do not have -and will have every time- less money. So all the tours are suffering. Do you really want to put another song on another album that no one will pay attention to? No, you don’t want to. Look for a good job. Finish college, travel and enjoy life, don’t do this.”

BEHEMOTH has released in September this year the album “OPVs Against Natvram”.

Nergal He stated about the release:

“The album title means go against the grain. It is the negative of the values, morals and ethics against which I oppose. I have been seriously fighting the destructive tendencies of pop culture: cancel culture, social media, and tools that I consider to be very dangerous weapons in the hands of people who are not competent to judge others. It is something that I find very destructive and disturbing, and extremely limiting from the artists perspective. This is my middle finger to that.”.

The group recently offered a short concert from the roof of the Palace of Culture and Science in WarsawPoland.

BEHEMOTH’s previous release was “In Absentia Dei”, recorded live in a church. “I Loved You At Your Darkest” It was his previous studio album.

On the other hand, Nergal was again acquitted of the charges of offense towards the coat of arms of Poland.
