After two years of pandemic delays and scheduling chaos, the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio will feature the most global and diverse lineup to date.
Urban music superstar Bad Bunny, K-pop girl group Blackpink and R&B icon Frank Ocean will headline the 22nd edition of the festival, which will draw 125,000 fans a day to the Empire Polo Club on weekends. week of April 14 to 16 and 21 to 23. Festival promoters Goldenvoice and AEG originally booked Ocean as the headliner for the 2020 festival, but Goldenvoice CEO Paul Tollett delayed and ultimately canceled during the worst of the pandemic. Bad Bunny, the most streamed artist on Spotify in 2022, will make his second appearance at Coachella, following his main stage performance in 2019. The Puerto Rican singer, rapper and actor will be the first artist from Latin America and the first Spanish-speaking artist to headline the festival. Blackpink, who made a raucous debut at the festival in 2019, are now back as one of the headliners following their second album, Born Pink. The group sold out two nights at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles in November, and will be the first Asian group to headline Coachella.
